About our team
Welcome to the Local Systems Capability Team in Sweden. You will join a great team of professionals and experienced Scrum Masters and IT Developers. We are working in versatile assignments across Local System Technology. Most of our deliveries are organized according to SAFe and agile methodology.
About this opportunity
We are responsible for the existing core systems in Nordea Technology organisation. We add value by delivering stable core services for all of Nordea and thus enabling among others digital banking services. Expert Scrum Master will be working with one or two teams depending on their maturity, complexity and size. You will contribute to raising agile maturity in Local Systems Sweden by growing cross-functional, self-organized, empowered teams that deliver customer value. In this role you will be supported and coached by peer Scrum Masters, Release Train Engineers in our active community.

- Facilitate scrum events (daily stand-up, sprint planning, retrospective and refinement)
- Build solid relationships with the team and create a trusting environment
- Inspire others
- Encourage self-organization and ownership
- Learn a lot and encourage continuous improvement
- Driving a great communication and cooperation among all stakeholders
- Drive complex deliverables across teams which require additional attention or stakeholder management.
Who you are

You are a great listener with experience or interest in coaching, a good team builder, open and honest, and proven ability to work on team dynamics and morale.
Your profile and background:
- Experience working as a Scrum Master or Project Manager/Driver in IT, preferably in financial sector
- Good understanding of agile methodologies (SAFe/Scrum) and preferably also traditional project/program management
- You have experience in business development and working in an agile environment
- Analytical skills and ability to deal with complex and demanding issues
- Understanding of IT processes and software development lifecycles
- You have proven experience in risk and dependency management
- Experience of building strong stakeholder relationships
- Extensive experience of application portfolio on Mainframe technical platform/environment
- Past experience from Local Systems and Local Systems application portfolio is a big benefi
- Excellent English skills, both verbal and in writing
- Good to have; Jira, MS Teams, Excel, SharePoint and Confluence experience

This role is based in Stockholm, Sweden. This is a new permanent, full-time position and preferred starting time is during Q2 2026.
