This role exists within Group Financial Crime Prevention (GFCP) and the Financial Crime Application and Data (FCAD) unit. One of the areas under that unit is the Financial Crime Data Strategy Team. This team is responsible for GFCP Data Strategy and to ensure that the execution towards its target state is under control. About this opportunity

 

We are looking for a hungry and skilled analyst to join us. With us you will have the chance to be part of developing and use the latest ideas for how to develop, implement and run our Data Management landscape cross GFCP and Nordea. Together with your colleagues you will be defining what it mean to run a first-class data management landscape within GFCP.

 

We endeavour to continually make improvements to ensure efficiency and on-going compliance with regulatory requirements and deliver solutions and services that help proactively prevent financial crime.

 

Based upon your analysis, you will support and give direction in how to get the most from data based upon the business needs, existing as well as coming.

 

In this role you will work very closely with all facets of the organisation including the data protection office to enhance and ensure good data management, in line with appropriate regulative requirements (e.g. GDPR).


What you’ll be doing:

  • Engaged in, and ensure, that there is a clear view on business requirements so needed supporting data management capabilities can be identified and developed
  • Based upon business requirements be engage in the design the future of the financial crime prevention data management capabilities
  • Engaged in translating strategies and Business Domains priorities into successful business outcomes
  • Support in advise management and the business in the planning, management and decision processes with insight, analysis and business cases within GFCP
  • For appointed capabilities, act as data related analyst
  • Drive or support business requirement work to support product innovation and development to maximize the value of a defined entire value stream within GFCP
  • Share you knowledge and insights to individuals and teams, to be part of growing talent and create new opportunities for aspiring professionals

You have a passion for data, data quality and data management and how it can bring advantage in to an organization.


To be able to create magic your background should include:

  • Bachelor’s degree in business, data or technology subject area, or other equivalent higher education, or relevant experience
  • At least 3 years of experience in data management and analysis
  • Consulting skills
  • You have been part of delivering Data Management implementations
  • Demonstrable experience and understanding of data management framework
  • Experience in business requirement work
  • Understanding of data and information modelling and experience with common data management aspects (lineage, data mapping, data transformations, etc…)
  • Fluent in English, both written and spoken (professional level)
  • Experience from cloud based development
  • Experienced in SQL

Desirable: 

  • Experience in crime prevention in a financial institution
  • Experience in Python.
  • Process modelling experience.
  • Experienced in PowerBI
