About this opportunity
As the Product Owner in Sanctions Change, Group Financial Crime Prevention your role involves being part of the Sanctions Change agile team, driving an End-2-End Product Governance, with focus on the Customer and Product strategic development. Sanctions Change agile way of working will cater for a seamless delivery across the entire Sanctions value chain in close partnership together with business, technology, architects and other key stakeholders, aligning to Nordea’s overall strategic direction and the new Technology strategy. Ultimately, your role contributes to keeping Nordea, its customers and society safer.
You will be a part of the Sanctions Change unit working alongside other Financial Crime Prevention and Change experts. The team consists of smart and passionate employees, located in Finland, Norway, Sweden, Denmark and Estonia. The role can be based in Stockholm, Helsinki, Tallinn, Warsaw or Lodz.
What you’ll be doing:
- Be a part of the self-organized, empowered and self-managed Sanctions Agile team, accountable to delivering customer and business value
- Work in an agile framework and collaborate actively with Product Managers, Business stakeholders, IT stakeholders, Scrum Masters and other Product Owners
- Work together with business stakeholders to translate high level business demand into more concrete features and user stories, and align on the prioritization
- Put your technical skills in good use to explore options for – and help shape – the best solutions that create customer value
- Define stories and prioritize the team's backlog and ensure prioritization in maximizing customer and business value while also contributing to ART level backlog
- Be a proactive facilitator in getting the right people together
- Network effectively to get to know your stakeholders in and around the organization
- Contribute to the Business Analyst tasks
- Implement business changes

Your experience and background:
- Agile mindset and background as an experienced business developer, IT analyst, Product Owner and you are familiar with Agile ways of working (e.g. SAFe, Scrum, Agile-Lean)
- Experience working with requirements in IT development activities and to define and document business requirements by using a broad range of research methods / investigation techniques (workshops, interviews, surveys, observation) for requirements analysis, cataloguing etc.
- Strong analytical skills with a focus on data and technology
- Experience working in a complex and international environment
- Experience working within the financial crime prevention industry
- Bachelor´s or Master´s degree
- English spoken and written at professional level
