We are looking for a talented and motivated IT Operations Specialist with a strong background in DevOps to join our dynamic team. As the IT Operations Specialist, you will be responsible for managing and maintaining our organization's IT infrastructure while implementing DevOps practices to streamline our development and operations processes. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to deploy, automate, and scale our applications and systems effectively. You will help us support our users, developers and our BizDevOps journey, to ensure we are geared towards high quality and low cycle-time and that our customers are our first priority.

About our team
As the IT Operations team member within the Digital Wealth Delivery domain, you will play a key role in a dedicated operations and support unit. In this role, you will be responsible of overseeing and maintaining the banks IT infrastructure to improve customer experience, monitor system performance and work closely with the development teams.
You'll be at the forefront of the transformation in Nordea. We are organized with operations & support, business and development in teams, and have the mandate and ability to imagine, develop, and release digital features to our customers with high speed.
Main responsibilities in this role:
- Actively involved in day-to-day operations
- Help troubleshoot basic technical issues and implement solutions
- Support the team in maintaining applications and systems
- Provide hands-on technical skills to support project delivery, troubleshooting and optimization
- Embrace mindset of continuous improvement, ensuring both technical excellence and efficient workflows
- Work closely with development teams to integrate DevOps best practices into the software development lifecycle and to enhance collaboration, automation, efficiency across the organization and and deliver innovative solutions
- Initiating and driving application dependency and infrastructure upgrade/patching
Who you are
You are sharp of mind and always proactive in your actions and planning. You are experienced in communicating and collaborating with others and in supporting end users. You like to ensure our process are fit-for-purpose and strive for simplicity in process re-engineering.
Your background and skills include:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- 2+ years of experience in IT operations or system administration roles.
- Understanding of ITIL and DevOps principles and practices.
- Proven ability to troubleshoot complex technical issues and implement effective solutions.
- Proficiency in operating systems such as Windows Server and Linux
- Monitoring tools as Splunk, Grafana or similar
- Tools as Confluence, Jira
- Knowledge of CI/CD tools, Kubernetes
- Basic awareness of AI and automation concepts and interest in learning how they can support IT operations, monitoring, and incident handling.
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work well in a team environment, collaboration with developers and other IT teams to support various initiatives and projects.

- Are a creative and innovative person with strong problem-solving skills
- Are adaptable, a people person, can communicate clearly and work well with different stakeholders
- Possess curiosity and interest in understanding and fulfilling business requirements to deliver exceptional customer experience and value-creation opportunities through technology
