We are looking for a Lawyer with at least three years legal working experience from a business law firm or the financial industry and with experience in people related legal services to join Nordea Asset Management (NAM) Corporate Law.

 

About our team

 

Meet the NAM Corporate Law team. Our role is to serve multiple jurisdictions as a diverse team with employees in currently three different countries.

 

Our team is part of Nordea Asset Management (NAM) Corporate Law. NAM is the centre of investment management in the Nordea Group and in the Asset & Wealth Management division. NAM is the largest asset manager in the Nordics with the vision of being a leading European Asset Manager. We want to do this by delivering returns with responsibility. NAM has around 900 employees and more than 475 Nordic and international institutional clients. You will be reporting to the Head of NAM Corporate Law, Karin Hansson, and cooperating with People Legal within Nordea Group Legal.

Main responsibilities in this role:

  • Analysis and implementation of reward related legislation and other regulatory requirements related to work force
  • Support to NAM's HR consultants in employment law discussions with law firms in foreign units
  • Support planning and coordination of Board Remuneration Committee meetings
  • Maintenance and update of NAM's internal framework for People related processes

 

The role is based in Stockholm or Helsinki. Travelling will be required from time to time.

 

Who you are

 

This is the right role for you if you:

  • Are motivated and interested in getting an insight into the asset management industry
  • Are able to work independently with a structured and methodical approach to problem solving
  • Are punctual, organized and result-driven
  • Can cover a wide range of jurisdiction and you need to be familiar with, and like to work with, EU-legislation and regulatory demands in the financial sector targeting employees
  • Are motivated and service minded. Further, you take initiative, collaborate well with others, and have a friendly sense of humor

 

Your background and skills include:

  • Be a lawyer with at least three years' experience from a business law firm or the financial industry
  • Solid experience with EU regulatory frameworks and employment law
  • Fluency in English, both oral and written
