Nordea Markets is offering a unique part-time opportunity for a talented and ambitious student to be part of the fast-paced trading floor at the leading Nordic investment bank. The Securities Finance & Structured Products Sales team is responsible for originating, structuring and executing market leading securities finance deals and structured products to a broad range of professional clients such as investment companies, hedge funds and family offices across the Nordics and beyond.

In the role you will become an integral part of the team, gaining unparalleled exposure to Nordea’s trading floor through hands-on experience with complex financing structures, securities lending and various equity derivative products. You will learn from and assist experienced colleagues, working closely with our clients to provide first-class capital market products. The job is based in Stockholm, starting spring 2024 through summer 2025, and is designed to complement your academic schedule, offering flexible hours during the academic year and full-time during summers. For the right candidate, the student position is a path into a full-time position upon graduation.

Desired Profile

We are looking for a curious and highly motivated problem solver with a genuine interest in financial markets and products with a high analytical capacity. Furthermore, Nordea expect applicants to be self-driven and have an eagerness to learn.

In addition, the successful candidate should fulfil the following criteria:

• Bachelor or Master student within relevant field, ideally majoring in finance, with excellent academic credentials from a top-tier university
• Strong proficiency in Excel and other Microsoft Office applications
• Fluent in Swedish and English
