Our Service Area “Data Technology”, provide highly reliable data to our Business and Regulatory analysis and reporting. We manage our Common Data Warehouse (CDW) which is a repository for any data within Nordea. The warehouse is built on Snowflake platform.

As the Quality Assurance Lead, you will work with hands-on management of quality assurance in our Data Warehouse Agile Release Train. You will establish and govern the test processes, test people, test enablers and test automaton solutions, this in compliance with Nordea Quality Assurance standards. You are working strategically with continuous test improvements, test resource management, stakeholder management and quality assurance uplift in the daily deliveries. 

 

You will be responsible for providing test- and technical leadership support, advocating Nordea quality standards and establishing quality as the whole team approach by knowledge sharing. You will assuring the focus on high quality of deliveries throughout the agile teams, securing great collaboration with stakeholders and effective QA communication within the initiative.

Some more specific tasks that you will do are: 

  • Plan and run QA and test management for both functional and non-functional testing, in concurrence with multiple and versatile scrum teams in a SAFe agile release train setup
  • Secure test enablers such us, test environments, and test data management
  • Secure the test scheduling in alignment with release- and deployment plans
  • Secure that the test evidence to changes is provided before going live decisions
  • Identify impediments, risks and challenges corresponding to QA and test management and derive solutions to enable efficient QA, and test progress
  • Proactively follow up, communicate and report the test status to key IT and business stakeholders regards QA risk status, testing progress, and improvement activities
  • Actively spearheading test automation (design, development, maintenance and operations)
  • Proactively advocate QA and test. Ensure continuous learning of team members and stakeholders in the agile release trains and Nordea test standards
  • Resource management of QA and test skills

Your experience and background: 

  • Have at least 5+ years of experience as QA Lead (or similar), with various size of teams
  • Experience testing data warehouse- and ETL solutions, advantage Snowflake platform
  • Experience in cloud solutions, is an advantage
  • Can understand and use SQL
  • Have worked with complex systems consisting various technologies and diverse types of interfaces
  • Have experience managing functional- and non-functional testing
  • Have experience planning and follow up system test, system integration test and user acceptance test
  • Have experience planning and follow up E2E-testing
  • Experience to enable efficient testing, driving the planning and establishment of test automation, test environment and test data management
  • Experience working with an agile mindset. Experience of SAFe is an advantage
  • Great QA and test status and reporting skills via dashboards and presentations
  • Have good English language skills to freely communicate with stakeholders (also native speakers)
