About this opportunity
Welcome to Model Risk Management. We add value by keeping Nordea’s Model Risk stakeholders informed and updated on the state of their model risk. We design and maintain Nordea’s model governance framework, Model Risk Management System, and support oversight through the Model Risk Committee.
What you’ll be doing:
- Help ensure robust management of Nordea's model risk
- Use your technical skills to maintain and develop the Model Risk Management System, that is Nordea’s tool to manage and report on model risk.
- Work with highly engaged colleagues in Nordea Group Risk Management
- Collaborate with colleagues in developing and running reporting solutions building on data from Nordea’s Model Risk Management system
- Develop and run data quality controls
- Maintain and keep documents, code repositories, etc. organized
You’ll join a team of experienced model risk experts. The role is based in Warsaw, Helsinki or Stockholm.

Your experience and background:
- Academic degree in a technical field, such as data science or engineering
- Experience creating clear and concise data based reporting for senior stakeholders
- Experience designing effective data and process controls
- Strong data analysis and visualization skills
- Good programming skills (eg: SQL, VBA, Python)
- Experience with Jira, Git hub, etc.
