We are now looking for a Senior Analyst with a strong analytical skill set and experience in stakeholder management to join our great team. 


About this opportunity
 

Welcome to P&D Office, which was established a year ago and is a small Nordic organisation supporting the Products & Development Unit (P&D) in offering great products and services to our Personal Banking customers. We serve the critical purpose of building a bridge and strong cooperation between all relevant areas in P&D, ensuring focus on optimising efficiencies and insights across our products and customer journeys. The team has three key areas: Product Management, Pricing & Reporting and Initiatives.

 

As a Senior Analyst you will be involved in creating a holistic overview of the entire product portfolio in Personal Banking. Furthermore, your task will be to gather and share detailed insights that will help to simplify the portfolio and help resolve data quality issues. You will be working together with a highly motivated team of analysts, product managers and business developers

What you’ll be doing:

  • Proactively provide insights and recommendations on our PeB product portfolio to identify opportunities for streamlining, simplification and alignment at a Nordic level
  • Summarise findings and support with creating product simplification roadmaps for the product responsible units (PRUs) within P&D
  • Engage with  PRU stakeholders and support them to achieve progress on their simplification roadmaps
  • Help with categorising products into a clean hierarchy and help with implementing that hierarchy in our organisation, thus strengthening product management in P&D
  • Collaborate with data responsible units about resolving data quality issues and about extending the content of their databases
  • Retrieve product specific information on retention periods from various systems. Help increase data quality in that area by connecting with colleagues in the relevant product responsible units
  • Be part of our team, have fun and contribute to improve of our ways of working

 

The role could be based in Copenhagen, Helsinki, Oslo or Stockholm.

Your experience and background: 

  • Expertise in PowerBI or similar business intelligence toolset
  • Comfortable in utilizing SQL to efficiently handle large datasets, compose complex queries, optimize query performance and present findings in visually appealing dashboards
  • You are familiar with breaking down complex stories and presenting them to stakeholders, recommending actions and driving projects forward
  • Suitable educational background with a university degree such as Finance or Economics, that also shows keen interest in solving practical problems with analytical methods
  • Fluent Proficiency in English
