We are looking for an experienced driver for strategic brand development projects within Nordea’s Group Brand, Communication and marketing (GBCM) unit. This is an opportunity for you to shape the future brand of Nordea.

We are looking for a driver for strategic Nordic brand and insights projects with ability to collaborate with and guide the most senior stakeholders across the business areas and group functions.

 

You’ll join the Strategic Projects team. We’re a Nordic team, working with our four main markets and all business areas. We delight in uncovering untapped growth opportunities, amplifying customer experiences and building brand equity to support our business targets. We always start with the customer and utilise data and insights to set the direction.

 

What you will do:

  • Lead opportunity mapping or growth pocket deep-dives: Uncover the key opportunities with the largest impact on both brand and business. Drive the prioritisation work with senior stakeholders across the bank, build solid business cases to show the potential and set the robust KPIs to secure the right focus.
  • Lead customer value proposition development, packaging and execution across the Nordic countries and business areas: Collaborate with senior stakeholders and specialists across the bank to set the strategic direction, scope and drive customer research. Utilise your expertise in turning customer insights to clear strategies and attractive creative concepts ready to be implemented in all key customer touch points and arenas.
  • Lead strategic brand and marketing development projects across Nordea: Lead marketing strategy, positioning, segmentation and competitor mapping projects and be part of drafting the brand development roadmap, both in short and long-term. Produce and utilise data and insights to support decision-making and secure right priorities.
  • Lead scenario building and foresight framework development: Drive market, customer and brand trend mapping across the Nordea. Utilise internal and external experts to derive key trends impacting our society, industry and customers in the years to come. Utilise trends and scenarios to future proof our business and brand development roadmaps and strategic priorities.

To succeed in this role, we believe that you:

  • Want to drive business growth and brand development through consumer insights.
  • 10+ years of experience of strategic brand and marketing development projects, preferably as a management consultant or from the matrix organisation.
  • Proven track record as the brain behind successful data driven brand marketing strategies.
  • Expertise in turning customer insights into attractive concepts and proven track record from creative concept development & 360 execution planning.
  • Expertise in strategic workshop planning and facilitation.
  • Passion and ability to drive complex qualitative and quantitative research projects in a structured way, paying attention to detail, combining different data sources and tools.
  • Brand tracking data, Adobe analytics, media data, social listening.
  • CAC, product/service profitability, business case.
  • Good knowledge of Excel, If you’re also used to working in R, SPSS, Adobe, PowerBI or similar it’s a bonus
  • Comprehensive business understanding and ability to drive profitable growth, including business case development, by driving projects in close collaboration with product- and sales organisations.
  • Strong analytical skills and mindset, combined with deep understanding of branding and marketing.
  • Excellent stakeholder management skills and experience in governance setting incl. facilitating steering committees, excellent communication, planning and organising skills.
