Would you like to work on topics of strategic importance for Nordea’s Financial Crime Prevention Area? We are currently looking for you, a Senior Business Analyst to play an important part in working on our Anti-Money Laundering solution for Capital Markets and Trade Finance products.

As the Senior Business Analyst, you will work on a programme level, designing and implementing solutions that bring value to Nordea on a journey to detect and prevent financial crime. We are a team of international proactive and professional individuals that are working with cutting edge technology.   

What you’ll be doing:

  • Practice agile principles and work in an agile framework 
  • Work together with business stakeholders to translate high level business demand into more concrete features and user stories, and align on the prioritization  
  • Put your technical skills to good use to explore options for - and help shape - the best solutions that create customer value  
  • Extract knowledge and understandable insights from data in various forms, and facilitate data driven decision making  
  • Be a proactive facilitator in getting the right people together  
  • Network effectively to get to know your stakeholders in the organization  
  • Deliver best-in-class solutions for transaction monitoring 


You’ll join a Transaction Monitoring Change Management unit team in our Stockholm or Helsinki metropolitan area where you will continuously develop your skills within Business Analysis and Transaction Monitoring. You will be assigned to an agile development hub and be a part of a cross-functional agile team, working towards a shared business purpose.

Your experience and background: 

  • You have a minimum of 5 years’ experience working as a Senior Business Analyst 
  • You have an excellent business orientation and understanding of the financial industry with extended experience in Business Analysis, Product Management, IT Product Development or similar 
  • You have experience in requirement elicitation and analysis with a high level of competence in communicating requirements in a clear and concise manner using presentation and visualization tools 
  • You are proactive, self-driven and collaborate well with multiple stakeholders at all levels 
  • You have extensive experience (minimum 5 years) in Agile ways of working and related methodologies (e.g. SAFe, Scrum, Agile-Lean) and have a high level understanding of Agile SAFe 
  • You preferably have experience in financial crime prevention and/or transaction monitoring with focus on data and related products 
  • You have experience working with agile project management tools, for example Jira and Confluence 
  • You are fluent in written and spoken English
