About this opportunity

You will join GBS Management Oversight, which is a team located under the biggest unit in Nordea: Group Business Support. GBS drives optimisation of our operational efficiencies, letting the Business Areas focus on what they do best, to serve our customers and drive income growth initiatives.


We are establishing a new unit called Access Rights Oversight that focuses on access rights management. Its purpose is to provide increased oversight, risk-based decisions, actions management and reporting. This is a crucial team focusing on reducing the risk associated with access rights. By being in this role, you will work closely with the Business Areas/Group Functions and support them in taking informed/data driven decisions with the aim to reduce risk and volumes of entitlements.


GBS Management Oversight consists of risk specialists and generalists that have individual responsibilities, but work closely together to always help and challenge each other. We are a critical and well-positioned team that is exposed to top management in Group Business Support and the rest of the Bank.


We are hiring Senior Business Analysts with different seniority levels.

What you will be doing:

  • Establishing oversight via the collection, analysis, understanding, and bucketing of data (entitlements)
  • Securing support the BA/GF with recommendations and actions to reduce risk and volumes of entitlements  
  • Ensuring adequate reporting for an effective oversight which strengthens the governance for sound decision making
  • Liaising with decision-makers to enable the understanding of the consequences of their decisions
  • Leading relevant business, project risk and change management initiatives to ensure that knowledge is shared, and risks are adequately managed
  • Leading the production and facilitation of training material to key areas in the Bank
  • Together with key stakeholders, like IAM and application owners – secure optimization in the amount of entitlements
  • Coordinating and drive risk-related processes and implementation initiatives
  • Providing advice to managers and employees in access rights management matters to increase risk awareness
  • Driving, facilitating and executing on agreed mitigating actions to address identified risks


Who you are

You are an experienced Senior Business Analyst with knowledge and/or interest in the access rights management space searching to challenge yourself in a highly paced and complex environment.

You have a talent for analytic work and producing reports and ensure senior management has a correct oversight of their risks.

  • Have superior analytical skills and the ability to apply them to risk
  • Can create and follow through on strategy for implementing risk frameworks
  • Have superior relating and networking skills to provide partnership while aligning and cooperating with internal stakeholders
  • Able to drive and manage projects on your own
  • Able to work independently, conduct analysis and assessments and draft proposals based on these, while contributing to a great team performance
  • Have experience with business operational and compliance risk tools
  • Are proactive, able to manage multiple tasks, execution-oriented, well organized with a structured approach and developed co-operation skills


Your experience and background:

  • Written and spoken English on a superior level is required
  • Bachelor’s degree
  • Experience with access rights management
  • Experience with data and analytics
  • Experience within business risk and compliance regulation
