Our team supports Group Technology executive leadership with ensuring change is driven throughout the organization in a professional manner with high integrity. We are now looking for a Senior Business Developer to join our team.  

 

This role will give you a front row seat to gain knowledge and insight on many of the essential processes and decisions enabling us to serve our customers and to keep our bank safe and trusted. You will have a steep and continuous learning curve being a part of the evolving environment in Group Technology.  

 

 

About this opportunity

 

As the Senior Business Developer you will play a valuable role in ensuring the quality and oversight our change agenda, plan for and ensure progress together with the management team and stakeholders.

 

What you’ll be doing: 

 

  • Drive the articulation and decision process of Strategic and Operational initiatives  
  • Drive the creation of high quality execution plans for agreed prioritised initiatives 
  • Drive the implementation of change through solid stakeholder management and strong leadership across Group Technology and Business Areas if needed 
  • Work collaboratively with senior stakeholders (c-level) across Group Technology to identify solutions to issues and assist in the successful delivery of the targets/plans 
  • Strategic analysis (financial and non-financial) & planning, support the development, refinement and execution of specific initiatives in Nordea’s Group Strategy including KPIs, benefit realisation process and metric 
  • Develop materials for strategic discussions and decision-making, including presentations to the Technology leadership team 
  • Proactively support the development of the team and be an active team member

  • Have strong change management skills
  • Have strong experience and track-record in driving larger projects/programs – in an international environment  
  • Have strong problem‑solving skills, including the ability to structure complex problems, apply hypothesis‑driven thinking and translate analysis into clear recommendations.
  • Have excellent executive communication skills, with the ability to develop concise, insightful materials and summarize complex topics for senior stakeholders
  • Thrive on working with stakeholders to create quality output in a collaborative and solution orientated way
  • Use feedback, experience and acquired knowledge to improve areas of responsibility  
  • Have a strong inclination to structure and plan work to enable productivity and ensure timely deliveries  
  • Have strong communication and networking skills combined with a personal drive
  • Contribute with a positive and “can-do” attitude, share knowledge, and seek feedback  

 

 

Your expereince and background include: 

  • Understanding and experience in working in the Banking industry 
  • Management or Business consulting experience and ways of working 
  • Strong tech understanding 
  • Proven track record in running strategic change initiatives  
  • Presentation and communication skills fit for senior stakeholders 
  • Experience in working with stakeholders across countries and units 
  • Fluency in written and spoken English
