About this opportunity


Welcome to the Payment Integrations Technology and File Transfer Team. We add value by providing file transfer services for our corporate customers and internal partners. As the Senior IT Analyst, you’ll play a valuable role in providing high quality, business critical and reliable service.


What you’ll be doing:

  • Operate, maintain and improve our B2B integration platforms.
  • Continuously improve monitoring of the technical platform as well as data flows.
  • Capacity and performance management.
  • Automate manual operations.
  • Handle incidents and participate in problem investigations.
  • Work closely with developers, testers, business stakeholders adopting BizDevOps practices.
  • Analyse and map current business processes and file flows to identify areas for improvement & optimization.
  • Reviewing and creating technical documentation and procedures.

Your experience and background:  

  • Proven experience as IBM Mainframe Analyst, with expertise in COBOL, JCL, CICS DB2, IMS.
  • Technical knowledge and experience of communication and file transfer protocols: SFTP, FTPS, HTTPS.
  • Knowledge of digital certificates and file/message integrity.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues.
  • Experience in the financial domain, preferably in Payments area and familiarity with regulatory requirements in the banking sector.
  • Proficiency with analysis tools Endeavor Mainframe, VSAM, SQL Tools, Xpeditor, File-aid, Abend-Aid.
  • Linux and SQL skills.

 

Additional skills that would be an advantage:  

  • Hands-on experience in developing, deploying, testing COBOL modules.
  • Knowledge of file messages/filetypes used in banking sector.
  • Knowledge of protocols: SWIFT, MQ.
  • Prior experience in the financial services industry and B2B integration.
  • Background in data mapping and migrations.
  • Experience with Agile methodologies and SDLC.
