We are looking for a Senior IT Analysts to join Core Systems Sweden - a team loaded with experience, professionalism, and passion. Now we need to add talent to the team, to stay in strength and competence also for the future.

 

As the IT Analyst, you will focus on delivering high quality solutions in an agile way for world class functionality, scalability, maintainability and performance. You will be responsible for driving the requirement process in IT, involving facilitating stakeholder collaboration and provide technical and business knowledge for the development of software applications, decision proposal or study.

 

As our applications are extremely central in the Nordea application landscape, managing the interconnectivity with other system areas is of prime importance. The Local Systems application portfolio is built on the IBM z/OS (“Mainframe”) technical platform. To be successful, we believe you are well acquainted with this platform. This role is based in SE/Stockholm. This is a permanent, full-time, position.

About our team

 

Meet the Local Systems team. Our role is to provide stable, efficient and innovative IT services in the core banking system areas such as Deposits, Payments, Customer data and Loans, serving nearly all other business areas of the bank.

 

What you’ll be doing:

  • Analyzing and understanding Nordea’s business processes, and formulating IT requirements
  • Analyze business requirements and verify implementations
  • Maintain expertise within applications end to end flow
  • Cooperate with many colleagues within Local Systems and other system areas, such as developers, architects, testers, business requestors as our system portfolio is interfacing many of Nordea’s applications
  • Assist our Scrum Master in taking responsibility for the whole team’s development portfolio and act as driver

To succeed in this role, we believe that you:

  • Have worked at least three years as an IT Analyst
  • Have a good ability to understand large and complex system landscapes
  • Are skilled at explaining your ideas to business and to your colleagues.
  • Have a positive attitude and cooperate easily with those you have contact with in your daily work
  • Are self-driven and used to work pro-actively towards setting targets within sometimes unclear boundaries
  • Are open for change and continuous learning
  • Have the capability to work with English speaking colleagues from all over the world

 

Your background and skills include:

  • You have a few years of experience from software development, preferably in the financial sector
  • You are skilled in and enjoy analyzing products and IT solutions, writing requirements, documenting and testing
  • Several years of experience from working with mainframe systems
  • Experience from Agile and SAFe Ways of working
  • Acquaintance with Nordea’s systems, products and processes will be a big advantage
