About our team
Meet the MDM Tech Software Development. Our role is to build the bridge between business processes, data management and customer master data systems, focusing on simplification and compliance.
Main responsibilities in this role:
- Design and implement IBM InfoSphere MDM solutions (both Physical and Virtual MDM models) and BPM/BAW UI.
- Customize and extend MDM functionalities using MDM Workbench, Java & XML.
- Develop and deploy MDM services & business rules.
- Implement data stewardship, survivorship rules, match-merge logic and hierarchy management.
- Integration & Data Management.
- Integrate MDM with upstream/downstream systems using SOAP/REST APIs, MQ, or Kafka.
- Collaborate with ETL teams (e.g. IBM DataStage, Informatica, or Talend) for data synchronization.
- Provide technical guidance and code reviews to junior developers.
- Optimize MDM performance, troubleshoot production issues and manage upgrades/patches.
- Participate in solution architecture discussions and propose best practices for data quality & scalability.
- Work closely with data architects, business analysts and QA teams to deliver robust MDM solutions.
- Prepare technical documentation including design documents, test cases and deployment guides.
Technical Skills:
- Core MDM Expertise:
- IBM InfoSphere MDM (v11.x or later).
- MDM Workbench, MDM Server, BAW / BPM.
- Suspect processing, Task management, Match/Merge, Data Stewardship.
- Java/J2EE, XML, XSD, XSLT.
- REST/SOAP Web Services.
- IBM MQ, Kafka, or similar messaging frameworks.
- Oracle, DB2, or SQL Server.
- Integration with DataStage or equivalent ETL tools.
- Eclipse, RAD (Rational Application Developer).
- IBM WebSphere Application Server.
- Jenkins, Git, JIRA, Maven.
Who you are
Your background and skills include:
- 5+ years working experience designing and developing IBM MDM Development.
- Preferred experience working with Java, PLSQL, CSS, SQL.
- Good competency in Java Webservices with advanced Excel skills.
- Sound understanding of master core data management concepts.
It would be ideal if you also have:
- Experience in analysis.
- Experience in Test Driven Development and Behaviour Driven Development.
- Experience in SAFe.
