We are now looking for a new Senior Investor Relations Officer that is deeply committed to providing the best service to the Nordea investor base, as well as supporting Nordea top management. About our team
Meet the Investor Relations’ team, a part of Group Finance. Our role is to to ensure a fair reflection of Nordea’s fundamentals, by providing transparent and relevant communication to the investor community, as well as channelling in-depth feedback from the capital markets to the management of Nordea. We also take the lead in external capital markets activities and are a key partner to top management in preparing material, plan and participate in investor roadshows, conferences, seminars and individual meetings with stakeholders across the capital markets.

What you’ll be doing
As the Senior Investor Relations Officer, you will work closely with the IR team, executing on the IR strategy.
Main responsibilities in this role:
- Participate in preparing the Group’s financial reports and different analyses for key Nordea stakeholders
- Assume the role as one point of contact for our investors, potential equity and debt investors, as well as sell-side analysts
- Research trends and competitive dynamics across the European and Nordic banking sectors
- Ensure that corporate information across all stakeholders is consistent and takes full account of valuation and in accordance with Group Directive
- Represent Nordea on company road-shows and at conferences where appropriate as well as prepare investor and analyst calls and meetings
- Communicate clearly and effectively within the organisation and provide regular feedback to key stakeholders – both externally and internally
The role is based in Stockholm and you will be reporting to the Head of IR, Ilkka Ottoila.
Who you are
This is the right role for you if you are an ambitious team-player with a strong insights into the Nordic financial services industry. You have strong relationships with the Swedish institutional investors and enjoys working with complex problems and stakeholder management at a very senior level.
Your background and skills include:
- Strong knowledge and understanding of banking, financial accounting and the operations and business areas within banking
- A background in investor relations, equity research, equity sales, investment banking or having worked with strategy or business development at a strategic level
- Strong understanding of and relationships with the Swedish institutional investors
- Keen interest in the capital markets and understanding investing and stock valuation
- Strong financial skills demonstrated in an analytical environment and knowledge of current regulatory environment and governance for public companies
- Experience working at an executive level. Comfortable advising executive management teams and engaging with senior investors globally
- Good written and verbal communication abilities in Swedish and English
