We are now looking for a Senior Trade Finance Advisor, to play a crucial role in maintaining our leading position within Trade- and Working Capital Finance related solutions. You will contribute by securing great customer experiences, building strong customer relationships and driving high quality strategic sales and advisory.

About this opportunity

You will join Trade & Working Capital Solutions Sales & Advisory, where we support customers’ international and domestic trade through value‑adding sales, structuring and origination of trade and working capital finance solutions. Our offering includes bank guarantees, documentary credits, receivables and payables finance, trade term loans and supply chain finance. You will work closely with colleagues across Trade & Working Capital Solutions as well as with other Nordea business and corporate units to deliver integrated customer solutions.

What you will be doing:

• Build and develop strong relationships with Nordea’s top corporate clients, driving strategic dialogue on trade and working capital finance at treasury and CFO level
• Manage a portfolio of corporate clients with end‑to‑end responsibility across the trade and working capital value chain, on a global basis
• Deliver high‑quality, value‑adding solutions based on a holistic understanding of each client’s needs
• Proactively originate and advise on complex trade and working capital solutions to enhance customer experience and grow share of wallet
• Represent and position Nordea as a thought leader in trade and working capital finance

The role is based in Stockholm, Sweden.

• Proven experience structuring trade and working capital finance solutions
• Solid understanding of credit and risk
• Strong customer focus with a track record of building trusted relationships and delivering excellent customer experiences
• Strong financial analysis skills and deep understanding of customer needs
• A commercial mindset with a strong drive to win and contribute to team success
• Passion for customer interaction and the ability to communicate effectively at multiple levels
• An energetic, curious and creative approach to problem‑solving

Your experience and background:

• Experience in corporate banking or from a corporate operating in international trade
• Trade- and corporate supply chain knowledge
• Solid experience in understanding customers’ processes and value drivers
• Strong presentation and communication skills in Swedish and English
• Degree, preferably in finance/economics
