About this opportunity


Welcome to the Equity Research team. We add value by helping our customers to find attractive and sustainable investments. As a senior equity analyst, you’ll play a valuable role in analysing the Nordic banking and financial sector. 


What you’ll be doing:

  • You will model and value Swedish banks and financial companies.
  • You will convey your investment ideas to our customers (funds and pensions managers).
  • Potentially, you will participate in IPOs.
  • The job requires travelling to other countries for meeting with Nordea’s international customers.  

 

You’ll join a dynamic and professional team. The role is based in Stockholm.

To succeed in this role, we believe that you:

  • Have at least three years professional experience from investment banking (equity research or corporate finance) or fund management. 
  • Preferably, have established contacts with the fund managers. 
  • Have experience of modelling and valuing companies.
  • Have understanding of and passion for the banks and financial companies.
  • Are analytical but at the same high-paced and dynamic person. 


Your experience and background:  

  • Equity research analyst background (excellent modelling and valuation knowledge). Alternatively, corporate finance or portfolio management background.
  • Familiarity with the Swedish listed banking and financials stock universe.
  • Master or Bachelor degree in Finance. 
  • Proficiency in Swedish and English.
