About this opportunity
You will join GBS Risk Reduction Plans, which is an organization located in the largest business area in Nordea: Group Business Support (GBS). GBS drives optimisation of our operational efficiencies, letting the Business Areas focus on what they do best, to serve our customers and drive income growth initiatives.
As the Senior/Lead Project Leader, you will step into a central role and lead the Risk & Issue Management track, PMO representative towards Project Workstream and and support in an ad-hoc capacity – This is where your expertise in project management is needed to contribute with solid capabilities and a strategic risk management approach, which will directly impact on the success of the programme, the financial performance, efficiency, competitiveness and overall success of Nordea. Other focus areas could also be considered where your capability is needed.
The role is based in Stockholm.

- Have solid experience working in a dynamic, complex and evolving environment.
- Are superior in Project Management, Risk & Issue management, some Financial Management and BCBS 239.
- Have strong communication, facilitation, presentation skills and expertise in managing stakeholders.
- Have a curious mind and excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with strong attention to relevant details.
- Thrive in a fast-paced environment and to manage and prioritize multiple deliveries within deadlines.
- Are self-driven individual with high integrity.
Your experience and background:
- Written and spoken English on a superior level is required.
- Superior in Project Management.
- Data Bank/Architecture/Application knowledge or interest is a great plus.
- Knowing, or have a keen interest in learning, non-financial risk management, regulation and BCBS 239.
- Preferable experience in PMO environment or large projects to navigate through complexity and ensuring timely and precise delivery.
- Relevant Master’s or Bachelor's degree.
