We are looking for a Service Domain Technology lead for the ESG and Shared Financial Services area.

About our team
You will lead the technology unit of the Service domain for ESG and Shared Financial Data Services within the Technology Service area of Group Finance. This role enables a key global change agenda for Nordea in creating a more sustainable future. You will play a key role in enabling Nordea’s sustainability ambitions by implementing the technology solutions that will support our external and internal commitments. You will also enable the data strategy where we have high ambitions for a streamlined architecture leveraging trusted and re-usable data.
This role sits within the Group Functions Technology Business CIO unit and will report to the GFT BCIO in the capacity of the GFT BCIO also co-leading SA Risk and compliance.
What you’ll be doing:
- Set the strategic direction for the technology unit
- Be accountable for all technology deliveries from the unit and ensuring that deliveries are on track
- Be accountable for financial management and ensuring KPIs are on track
- Be key speaking partner for the service domain business lead
- Be responsible for a technology unit of 10+ internal FTEs and 50+ external staff

Your background and skills include:
- Have experience working in a dynamic, complex and evolving environment and a technologist at heart
- Understanding of ESG and relevance of sustainability in the banking sector is desirable
- Understanding of modern data platforms i.e. Snowflake
- Have superior communication, facilitation and presentation skills, and expertise in managing a large variety of senior stakeholders
- Are self-driven individual, and a solid team player with high integrity
- Experience in leading globally distributed teams
- Relevant Master’s or Bachelor's Degree
The role is based in Stockholm, Sweden or Helsinki, Finland.
