About this opportunity
Welcome to the Snowflake Platform support team. We add value by ensuring uptime, performance and compliance. As Snowflake Administrator you’ll play a valuable role in the platform support - liaising with numerous stakeholders in IT, business and also the vendor itself.
What you’ll be doing:
- Hands-on experience with Snowflake features such as Snow SQL, Snow Pipe, Python, Tasks, Streams, Time travel, Zero Copy Cloning, Optimizer, data sharing, stored procedures, etc.
- Identify the various aspects of compute and storage management w.r.t. Snowflake
- Review Snowflake best practices & considerations for managing load operations and performance
- Implement advanced techniques for Snowflake performance-tuning methodologies
- Describe data governance in Snowflake, including column-level data security using secure views and dynamic data masking features
- Manage multiple accounts across the Organization
- Employ recovery methods and agile development with Time Travel & Cloning
- Design and develop secure access to objects in Snowflake with Role-Based Access Control (RBAC)
- Recommend the Snowflake best practices for warehouse management & monitoring
- Use data replication for data sharing across accounts/regions and for failover scenarios
- Share data securely both within and outside your organization using private link
You’ll join a team of 3 highly specialized database experts. The role is based in Stockholm (preferred) or in PL/Tricity.

- Able to work in an challenging and agile environment with quick turnaround and strict deadlines
- Familiar with CI/CD concepts and the processes
Your experience and background:
- Experience in Data warehousing - OLTP, OLAP, Dimensions, Facts, and Data modeling
- Understanding of network policies & how it interacts with cloud providers
- Understanding of various Snowflake integrations
- Professional knowledge of AWS and Snowflake
- Developing scripts in UNIX/PowerShell
- Hands-on Python knowledge
- Good communication skills, self-motivation & problem solving
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Technical Science or 3 years of technical architecture and build experience within large scale solutions
