About this opportunity

Come and join an exciting position as Capability Leader Software Development in the Enterprise-Wide Master and Reference Data service domain in the largest Nordic bank. This is a chance to head the development team, engaged in building key solutions for the bank, and working together to improve the quality and innovation of our solutions. In this role you will be working with skilled, international teams in a fast-paced and inspiring working environment - playing an important role in making us achieve our goals and objectives.

What you’ll be doing:

  • Leading a multinational team of developers that are working with developing the IT applications belonging to the domain (includes both internal employees and external consultants)
  • Be part of agile initiatives that are actively designing and developing our systems and applications
  • Continuously refining and improving the software development standards and practices
  • Setting targets for the team, as well as for each employee and providing timely and well-documented feedback, coaching and assessments
  • Handling risk issues and ensuring compliance with regulatory and governance requirements
  • Building and maintaining key relationships with surrounding teams and stakeholders
  • Be part of the Service Domain Leadership Team, working together towards our vision and targets


The role is based in Stockholm; Gdańsk; Warszawa.

  • Proven leadership experiences
  • Relevant background from working with Data Management and/or Master Data Management technologies.
  • Knowledge in software development standards and best practices
  • Solution orientation and an ability to execute accordingly
  • Ability to foresee trends in applicable technologies and required changes of needed developer skill set
  • Persistency to work with virtual and multi-located teams
  • Excellent communication skills, written and spoken English
