About this opportunity
You will join Data Strategy and Alignment team in the unit Data Strategy Execution within Group Data Management. Our team will support Nordea´s Data Strategy, both in terms of strategic thinking and driving the implementation.
As a Strategic Partner, you will drive change management in an effective way and ensure proactive and close collaboration with stakeholders across Nordea. You will take ownership and initiative as well as provide guidance and coaching to team members if needed.
What you are accountable for:
- Demonstrate a comprehensive understanding of the banking industry´s operations and how data drive those operations, support in setting a clear vision of the execution on the board-approved data strategy, effectively plan and managing work to ensure accountability, stakeholder engagement and liaise with other strategic priorities and initiatives
- Develop high-quality, impactful material and crafting effective storylines to anchor both internal and external support for strategic initiatives
- Present complex analyses and data clearly, structuring content around end-goals for efficient processes, and confidently deliver presentations to senior audiences with credibility and adaptability
- Act as a proactive problem solver, facilitating productive meetings with senior stakeholders, leveraging group dynamics, and navigating organizational and political contexts to build support, provide options and achieve objectives
The role is based in Stockholm; Copenhagen; Helsinki.

- Able to see beyond theoretical strategy and to clarify a strategy execution down to activity level
- Very structured, communicate easily with people, and have an eye for the details comprising the big picture
- Being able to communicate a complicated and technical subject in an easy to comprehend manner
- High integrity and are able to keep calm while performing under pressure
- Strong skills in using Microsoft Office tools
- A team player and feel comfortable and inspired by working with people from diverse backgrounds and skillsets
- Focused on delivering results personally or through people and enabling the team to effectively deal with their responsibilities by sharing information and delegating both responsibility and the mandate to act
Your experience and background:
- Master’s degree with 5+ years working experience in relevant field
- Project management and/or strong experience in stakeholder management
- Highly analytical track record
- Strong presentation and communication skills
- Understanding of the banks industry´s operations and how data drives those operations
- Good influencing skills
- Superior level in English, both written and spoken
