Student Assistant - Internal Communication
Stockholm, SE, 111 46
Job ID: 3956
We are looking for a part-time Student Assistant to support our team with day-to-day communication activities. This role is ideal for a student who wants to combine their studies with hands-on experience in internal communication within a large Nordic organisation.
This is a part time student position located in Stockholm, Sweden.
About our team
Meet the Internal Engagement & Communication Partnering team.
Our role is to support leaders and the business with clear, relevant and engaging internal communication – helping strategies and decisions reach people, be understood and turned into action in everyday work.
Our team is part of Group Brand, Communication & Marketing and consists of Communication Partners working closely with different parts of the bank across Sweden and the Nordics. We collaborate closely with leaders and colleagues throughout the organisation, with our main base in Stockholm. We are also responsible for Leadership Communication, servicing our leaders in Nordea. And our Content Hub works with internal communication and engagement to all our employees, across the whole organisation.
Collaboration. Ownership. Passion. Courage. These are values that guide how we work and make decisions – and values we believe you share.
What you will be doing
As a Student Assistant, you will support the team in operational communication tasks, including:
- Supporting daily communication activities, such as writing texts, doing research and handling practical tasks
- Assisting with the creation and updating of presentations, primarily in PowerPoint
- Producing simple videos and visual content for internal communication
- Supporting planning, preparation and delivery of internal communication initiatives
Who you are
This is the right role for you if you are curious, proactive and enjoy working hands-on with communication. You are structured, take ownership of your tasks and enjoy collaborating with others, while also being comfortable working independently when needed.
You have an interest in internal communication, storytelling and visual content, and you want to learn how communication works in a large organisation.
Your background and skills include:
- Ongoing university or higher education studies in communication, media, marketing or a related field
- Very strong skills in PowerPoint
- Good written communication skills in English
- Availability to work part-time alongside your studies
It would be valuable if you also:
- Have experience creating videos or other visual content
- Have previous experience from internal communication, student projects or similar
- Are used to working in a structured way and meeting deadlines
What we offer
People come here when they want to move forward. With us, you will have the opportunity to combine your studies with practical experience, learn from experienced colleagues and gain insight into both strategic and operational communication within a Nordic bank.
Our culture supports performance, learning and development, and we offer an inclusive and collaborative work environment.
We work in a hybrid model, valuing both flexibility and the benefits of meeting in person when it matters.
Diversity and inclusion are natural parts of how we work. We believe that different perspectives make us stronger together and actively work towards a sustainable and inclusive workplace.
