About this opportunity

Welcome to the Credit Risk Requirements & Analysis Team2. We add value by understanding how the Credit  Risk Business team works and how Technology can be used to achieve the Credit Risk Business goals. As Technology Capability Team Leader for Software Requirements and Analysis combined with Technical Product Lead role, you’ll play a valuable role in building a strong team of software requirements and analysis professionals to support the Credit Risk business domain to achieve their goals in an efficient manner.

 

Working with us, you will be part of one of the most important programs (IRB Model development program) for the bank, which consists of upscaling Nordea’s models and frameworks for capital calculation. You will cooperate closely with your colleagues across the bank and you will have great possibilities to develop your skills within credit risk area – a field which is in high focus in Nordea.

What you’ll be doing:

  • Building and managing a strong team of software requirements & analysis  professionals (internal employees and external consultants)
  • Technology Product Lead for IFRS9 Technology roadmap execution area within Credit Risk  Service Domain (change & run responsible, leading BizDevOps journey, ensure and oversee efficient execution, technology partner for product manager and product owners)
  • Setting a clear direction for the software requirements and analysis team and supporting the team on requirements gathering, solution analysis & design, working with other capabilities to deliver efficient change and run practices, automation of processes etc. 
  • Fostering a culture of end-to-end accountability and ownership for the products and services the team delivers 
  • Taking an active role in helping the team acquire new knowledge and skills to achieve optimized business outputs


You’ll join Credit  Risk Service Domain in Credit & Collateral Service Area. The role is based in Sweden, Stockholm.

To succeed in this role, we believe that you:

  • Strong domain knowledge in Credit Risk IRB and IFRS9.
  • Proven Capability team leadership. 
  • Experience and expertise in Software Analysis & requirements  (hands-on work experience, technical leadership experience, knowledge of standards, frameworks, processes, tools) 
  • Genuine interest in acquiring knowledge about the credit risk  business domain and domains related to Credit Risk 
  • Ability to see opportunities for change and set in motion initiatives to execute on this change
  • Ability to build relationships across Business, Technology and Architecture
  • Ability to set clear goals and purpose to keep the team feeling aligned and motivated 


Your experience and background: 

  • A degree in the fields of Engineering, Computer Science or Information Systems
  • 7+ years of experience as a Technology Leader in the Financial Services industry designing/implementing data intensive applications/COTS solutions/workflow automation and business process management solutions or similar
  • Alternatively, a strong individual contributor in a senior technology specialist role (e.g. Expert IT Analyst, Solution Architect)
  • In-depth knowledge about the banking domain 
  • Self-driven with ability to work independently and under own initiative
