Workforce & Organisation Developer
Stockholm, SE, 111 46
Job ID: 6572
We are looking for a Workforce & Organisation Developer to join our Workforce & Organisation team and help shape how one of the Nordic region's largest organisations plans, organises, and develops its workforce.
This permanent, full-time position is based in Stockholm and reports to the Head of Workforce & Organisation. Most work is carried out from the office.
About our team
Meet the Workforce & Organisation team. Our role is to help Nordea strengthen organisational effectiveness through workforce planning, organisation design, and people insights. We support some of the Group's most important strategic priorities and work across a wide range of business areas.
You will join a small, international team with broad exposure across Nordea. We collaborate closely with senior leaders and colleagues throughout the Group to solve complex organisational and workforce challenges. By combining different perspectives and expertise, we help shape decisions that have a meaningful impact on the organisation.
This role offers a high degree of responsibility, visibility, and opportunities to learn and grow across multiple disciplines. English is our working language.
Collaboration. Ownership. Passion. Courage. These are the values that guide us in how we work and how we make decisions – and that we imagine you share with us.
What you’ll be doing
You will take ownership of defined activities and workstreams—from framing problems and conducting analysis to developing recommendations and supporting implementation. You will work independently in your areas of responsibility, with guidance and support from senior colleagues on more complex topics. As your experience grows, you will have opportunities to broaden your scope and take on greater responsibility.
Your main responsibilities will include:
- Develop and improve approaches to strategic workforce planning, organisation design, job architecture and job design
- Drive defined activities that support Nordea’s workforce transformation in response to AI and the transition towards a more skills-based organisation
- Lead selected workstreams and contribute to broader strategic projects, from initial analysis through implementation and follow-up
- Work with senior colleagues to advise leaders on complex workforce and organisational questions, translating insights into practical recommendations
- Use internal data, external benchmarks and structured analysis to strengthen decision-making
- Collaborate across business areas and countries to build alignment and contribute to lasting change
Who you are
You may be a strong match if you enjoy bringing structure to complex challenges, combining strategic thinking with hands-on delivery, and collaborating with senior stakeholders. You are curious, analytical, and comfortable working in a dynamic environment with changing priorities. You take ownership of your work, build strong relationships, and contribute positively to the success of the wider team.
Your experience and skills may include:
- Three to five years’ relevant experience from management consulting, strategy, organisational development, workforce planning or a comparable field
- Experience delivering complex projects and translating analysis into practical outcomes
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to communicate clearly to different audiences
- Experience working with stakeholders across functions and levels of seniority
- A relevant university degree or equivalent professional experience, professional proficiency in English, and confidence using Excel and PowerPoint
- Proficiency in one of the Nordic languages
It would be an advantage if you have experience in one or more of the following areas:
- Strategic workforce planning
- Organisation or job design
- Job architecture or skills-based practices
- Implementing sustainable organisational change
