We are looking for a SWIFT IT Analyst who is self-driven, communicative, with good understanding of critical enterprise environments and importance of operational stability to raise our Team capacity in Application Maintenance area.

 

About this opportunity

 

Main responsibilities would be:

  • Support message flows between Nordea and other banks and financial institutions. You will be part of the team which is responsible for support, maintenance and development of integrations between SWIFT and the Nordea's business applications
  • Act as the second line support towards the end users in SWIFT related issues
  • Handle incidents and participate in problem investigations
  • Operate and maintain Nordea’s SWIFT applications

 

IT Analyst among other things is responsible of delivering and administering solutions, which match business and IT requirements. He/she will also (as the IT Analyst) be taking part in projects.

 

The position is a mixture of application administration and (small) development. The main responsibility is in application administration - not in infrastructure administration or low level programming.

Ideally the applicant would have some working experience of following:

  • Banking (especially payment systems)
  • SWIFT in general
  • XML and XML standards (ISO20022)
  • Application administration
  • Application development and tools (basic programming skills)

 

Technical skills/knowledge:

  • Mainframe (CICS, JCL, etc. ...)
  • DB2
  • Hosting Platforms (Oracle WebLogic, Tomcat)
  • IBM MQ
  • Linux (RHEL)
  • Oracle DB (or SQL in general)
  • DEVOps
  • Agile (Scrum or Kanban)

 

Business skills/knowledge:

  • MX/MT messages (XML format)
  • PayPlus (CLS)
