About our team
As our new data engineer, you will become a part of our Collection team and will get opportunity to collaborate with consultants working with engineering tools and processes. As part of the DnA stream, where competences from different areas work together to deliver data driven solutions.
Our organization is currently going through a remediation program where data transformation and our engineers play a very important role in ensuring we grasp every possibility of transitioning towards the target in the everyday tasks to be solved.
Some of your tasks at high level will be:
- Design, develop and maintain data solutions/pipelines
- Understanding the domain data be able to make data fit in the bigger picture
- Refactoring and optimizing current data pipelines and code base components
- Aiding in documenting the current solution as well as future development

Who you are
We are looking for a Data engineer, with a sound grasp of technologies and an ability to bridge the gap between technical debt and modern solutions.
To succeed in this role, we believe that you:
- Demonstrate high level of data engineering skills and believe in applying best engineering practices like automatic testing and continuous integration
- Are unafraid to point out and challenge existing technical debt where present in the solution
- Are curious to onboard on new technologies
- Do not hesitate to take on new challenges
Your experience and background:
- You are experienced in working with developer tools like Python and (primarily) SQL
- You have a thorough understanding of data storage solutions (Relational databases)
- You are experienced in working with common IT-project management tools such as Jira and Confluence as well as under common project management frameworks such as SCRUM and/or SAFe
- You are familiar with or have experience working with the Software Development Lifecycle model
- Broad knowledge of and interest in best practice data engineering principles
- Are fluent in English
It would be also ideal if you also have:
- Familiarity or experience with Graph Databases and -concepts (specifically Neo4j)
- Familiarity or experience with statistics- and Machine Learning concepts, particularly Prompt Engineering and MLOps
- Familiarity or experience with reporting and -visualizations tools such as Power BI
