About this opportunity

 

Welcome to the Compute engineering team! 
We are a  young and expanding team delivering infrastructure in a semi-automated manner, with a strong focus on fully automating processes while adopting an agile approach.  Roles are continuously refined to boost collaboration and efficiency.

 

You will work closely with Product Owners and other internal and external stakeholders, and play a valuable role as you contribute to develop the plan for the next tech-step, as well as communicating the plan to all the relevant stakeholders.


What you’ll be doing:

  • Drive strategic discussions for evolving the architecture to deliver reduced complexity, cost efficiencies, improved agility, reduced risk, or improved business capabilities
  • Provide technological sparring for peers and leaders
  • Develop, innovate, mature, and maintain high level architecture roadmaps, designs as well as adoption roadmaps for the following technical domains: 
    • Hardware
    • Virtualization
    • Windows
    • Linux
    • Directory services
    • Citrix & automation
  • Create architectural and technical documentation such as High-Level Design (HLD) and Low-Level / Technical Design (SDD and LLD)
  • Ensure technology development is aligned with the business strategy
  • Bridge gaps between business units and service providers
    • Be the translator between engineers and  business stakeholders through hands-on and more formal presentations communicate solution-documents to a wide variety of stakeholders


The role is based in Høje Taastrup.

Your experience and background: 

  • Demonstrated ability to architect infrastructure modernising technology solutions across multiple technical domains (technology, application, information and infrastructure) with an emphasis on midrange infrastructure, converged infrastructure, data centre networking and infrastructure virtualisation
  • Experience with transformation projects, including the development of project plans
  • Knowledge of Amazon Web Services (AWS) and/or Microsoft Azure
  • Experience with SAFe methodology and DevSecOps

 

Experience from working in a financial or otherwise regulated industry is preferred.
