Nordea’s Group Data Management focus on delivering and enabling AI and Gen AI use cases across the organisation, while creating and providing the underlying technology foundations.
We are now looking for a Senior Management Partner who is interested in working in the field of advanced analytics (Generative AI and AI) and IT systems to enable the delivery of use-cases across the bank. You will work closely with data scientists, software engineers, and business stakeholders to take AI and Generative AI applications from concept to production.

What you’ll be doing:
- Run the bank's Applied Data Science and Technology agendas, foster collaboration between the two areas and respective business stakeholders
- Develop the Bank’s AI and Technology strategy, guaranteeing it aligns with executive vision and goals
- Lead the AI & IT transformation efforts, ensuring the delivery of advanced analytics use cases and the underlying tech stack infrastructure availability
- Design and implement target operating model to foster efficient ways of working between AI and Technology teams
- Support with project resource allocation and budgeting

Your experience and background:
- BSc, MSc or PhD in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Data Science, Business Administration relevant technical field, or equivalent practical experience
- 10+ years of experience in senior management of IT, Data Science or equivalent areas
- Proven track record of successfully developing AI strategies and leading large-scale transformations
- Knowledge of Data Architecture design and tooling
- Skilled at transforming complex ideas into clear, engaging explanations for C-level and executive stakeholders
- Excellent communication skills & proficiency in english
Other relevant qualifications (not mandatory):
- Proficiency in Risk and Responsible AI, with knowledge of AI EU Act and other data privacy and security regulations (e.g., GDPTR)
- Experience building retrieval augmented generation (RAG) and agentic solutions
- Experience in using machine learning techniques such as regression, classification, clustering, natural language processing, etc.
- Experience in training, evaluation, fine-tuning and deployment of predictive models; including feature selection, hyper-parameter tuning, error analysis and data visualisation
- Experience testing, maintaining or launching AI/ML products and working with MLOps best practices
- Experience working in a DevOps environment with CI/CD pipelines, Docker, container orchestration such as Kubernetes, and Shell scripting
