About this opportunity

 

Welcome to the Settlement DK team. We add value by securing timely settlement of a wide range of securities products on the Danish market. We work in close collaboration with our internal and external stakeholders. As the Service Operation Officer, you’ll play a valuable role in our daily deliveries and at the same time participate in development activities and optimizing our process to reduces risk and complexity.

 

What you’ll be doing:

  • Equity and bonds settlement for Nordea Markets in Denmark and for Retail customers in Denmark
  • Problem solving every time issues arise in the settlement process
  • Improve our processes each day is a key part of the job
  • Ensure excellent clients and stakeholder service

 

You will joining a global team of professionals which are located in Lodz in Poland and Taastrup in Denmark.

  • Efficiently managing multiple settlement tasks, adhering to deadlines, and prioritizing responsibilities to ensure timely and accurate processing of transactions
  • Aptitude for identifying and resolving settlement-related issues, such as failed trades, trade discrepancies, or trade breaks, in a timely and effective manner
  • Commitment to providing excellent service to stakeholders, clients and counterparties by addressing their inquiries, concerns, and requests related to settlements professionally and promptly
  • Continuously developing these skills through training, experience, and staying abreast of industry developments is essential for success as a settlements officer

 

Your profile and background:

  • Background in back office functions is an advantage but not a requirement
  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree preferably within Finance or Economics is an advantage
  • You are Fluent in English
  • Good communication skills both verbal and in writing
  • Analytical and strong problem-solving mindset
  • Focus on details combined with seeing wider perspective
