We are looking for a Student (15/20 hours a week) who wants to take part in the execution of the Nordea Finance strategy! Your main responsibility will be to perform IT financial controlling tasks which is an excellent platform to get a broad reach and understanding of the Nordea Finance business. For the right candidate this position gives an excellent opportunity to perform and grow competences in a Finance unit dedicated to lead and drive business performance!
The position is temporary with end date 31 December 2025
Nordea Finance is the largest leasing company in the Nordics with EUR 20bn in credit volume, serving our customers and partners by providing access to financing of assets such as equipment and cars, but also allowing them to optimise their own balance sheet with receivables finance products.
About our team
You will be part of the Nordea Finance CFO Analysis team which is part of the Nordea Finance CFO team in Group Finance. We provide and drive financial steering to the Nordea Finance Leadership Team (NF LT) for them to drive execution of business and IT strategy to deliver on financial targets. In the Analysis team we support NF LT members with their financial follow-up and planning, we set our Finance Business Partner colleagues up for success with data, tools and insights to excel as partners for business, and we run and govern financial central processes across NF related to target setting, forecasting, and cost distribution both for business and IT.
The NF CFO Analysis team consists today of 7 people of which 4 people are located in Finland and 3 people (including leader) located in Denmark.

What you’ll be doing
Driving the financial planning and follow-up for the Nordea Finance IT Organisation is a very important task we want to strengthen. Primary tasks for you will be to ensure high quality in the monthly reporting of financials which will be performed in close collaboration with an experienced colleague located in Finland.
Main responsibilities in this role:
- Ensure correct monthly follow-up based on invoices and time reporting
- Drive other controlling tasks beginning of month to ensure proper financial reporting for NF IT organisation
- Prepare monthly material for IT financial follow-up discussions together with a senior colleague
- Take responsibility for making the current operational processes more efficient
- Support financial follow-up on programme level
Who you are

Your background and skills include:
- You have flair for financials and takes pride in delivering with quality
- You can manage having several tasks ongoing and are able to prioritise and structure your work to deliver within set deadlines
- You are self-driven, have a positive attitude and know the importance of collaboration
- You are experienced user in Excel and PowerPoint
- You are fluent in English both in writing and verbally
It would be ideal if you also:
- Have 1-2 years of work experience from a previous student position in either the Finance or IT area is an advantage but not a prerequisite
