About this opportunity

 

Welcome to the Credit Risk Analysis team within Credit Portfolio Analysis. The team’s mission is to enable the senior management in making the right decisions on credit risk and to secure stakeholders both inside and outside Nordea has the correct understanding when it comes to the quality of Nordea’s portfolio. This we achieve by knowing the credit risk processes and the connected data and by concluding in a clear way on credit risk for the Nordea Group.


As the (senior) quantitative risk analyst, you’ll play a valuable role in analysing and verbally concluding on the credit risk at portfolio level, but also be delivering on the many ad hoc requests, the technical developments and on the relevant Group Risk priorities. We work closely with the senior management and in our team we never have a boring week!


What you’ll be doing:

  • Take the lead on the credit portfolio quality overview for certain portfolios
  • Contribute to Nordea’s external presentation material and internal key reports
  • Secure timely and good quality deliveries, and support development & process improvements within the unit as well as across units 
  • Interact and cooperate with stakeholders on various levels of the organisation and across value chain, executing on the right priorities and delivering the desired effects

  • Are an experienced risk professional with knowledge and interest in the Credit Risk and analysis domain within banking

Your experience and background: 

  • Have a degree in economics, mathematics, finance or equivalent
  • Strong skills within analysis, credit or data
  • Good communication skills
  • Knowledge of credit risk data in CAD and/or CDW is an advantage
