About our team  

 

Meet the ESG team. Our role is to create end to end IT solutions for ESG, CSRD reporting, calculate Financed emissions for the bank and cater to other sustainability initiatives using state of the art cloud solutions.  

 

We are part of Service Domain ESG and Shared Financial Data Services in Service Area Finance /Group Function Technology.

 

This role is based in Warsaw.

 

Main responsibilities in this role are:

  • Design, develop, and optimize scalable data pipelines and data models within Snowflake
  • Write efficient and complex SQL queries to support data analysis, reporting, and integration use cases
  • Collaborate closely with IT analysts, engineers, and business stakeholders to understand requirements and deliver data solutions
  • Implement data quality, governance, and security best practices in the Snowflake environment
  • Troubleshoot performance bottlenecks and continuously improve the data platform's efficiency

Your background and skills include:

  • 5+ years of hands-on experience in SQL and data engineering,
  • 3+ years of experience working with Snowflake in a production environment,
  • Proven expertise in data modelling, performance tuning, and data warehousing concepts,
  • Experience building ETL/ELT pipelines using modern data stack tools,
  • Strong understanding of data security, access controls, and governance practices.        

             

It would be ideal if you also:

  • Have experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP,
  • Are familiar with tools like dbt, Airflow, or similar orchestration frameworks,
  • Have exposure to CI/CD processes and version control (e.g., Git) in data engineering projects,
  • Have problem solving attitude,
  • Would like to share feedback and transfer knowledge,
  • Have experience in Agile ways of working and JIRA (SAFE framework is an asset).
