About this opportunity
Welcome to the Technology Risk Management unit. Technology Risk Management`s ambition is to take on complex tasks and bring them from idea phase to realisation. In parallel, we increase risk awareness and continuously build structures and procedures that give Nordea Technology management an excellent quality support.
As a Associate Technology Risk Manager / Technology Risk Manager supporting Technology Control Management in Nordea, you will work in the 1st Line of Defence and help driving initiatives to increase technology control awareness, and ensure prudent risk management through technology control design and assessment.
What you’ll be doing:
- Drive the design, continuous improvement and testing of Nordea’s technology controls with business units to achieve accuracy, consistency and aggregation of technology risks
- Perform control testing and interpret results to identify trends and issues related to technology controls across business units
- Collaborate with necessary stakeholders and support in the documentation of new or existing controls and test plans
- Communicate effectively with recipients at all levels in Nordea to secure necessary input, anchoring and optimising the decision-making process, knowledge sharing and enhancing risk and compliance culture
You’ll join an integrated Nordic and Polish team, passionate about providing risk and compliance services through business and technological insight. The role is based in Poland, Sweden, Finland or Norway.

- Ability to deliver quality solutions on time
- Strong collaboration with multidisciplinary teams and finds it interesting and rewarding to work in a cross-border Nordics & Poland organisation
- Be self-motivated, quality-driven and able to work autonomously
- Have a positive attitude, take on responsibilities and be an engaged and committed team player
Requirements:
- Bachelor's in Information Technology or Business. Master's degree would be a plus
- 1 – 10 years of experience in Information Technology or Risk Management
- Fluency in written and spoken English
- Knowledge or practical experience with ISO 27001/2, ITGC, ICT regulations would be a plus
