About our team
Financial Crime Prevention Technology (FCPT) adds value by providing a strong technology team with the right capabilities for the Group Financial Crime Prevention business teams.
The Data and Analytics team is a part of FCPT and is responsible for providing the tools and technology required to enable the business to leverage the value of our data through advanced analytics, generative and predictive AI.
Collaboration. Ownership. Passion. Courage. These are the values that guide us in how we work and how we make decisions – and that we imagine you share with us.
What you’ll be doing
You will handle the software engineering work in our newly established AI/MLOps team. You will play a crucial role in productionizing ML and Gen AI models and the supporting infrastructure required for these.
Your key accountabilities will include:

- Designing and developing the software required to interact with the models by connecting model pipelines to the overall application and ensuring that the models are smoothly embedded within business systems
- Helping to establish or revise the team development standards
- Facilitating the deployment of models effectively into production environments
- Working closely with the MLOps engineers to select or create the tools required to support model deployment
Your work will bridge the gap between model development and implementation, creating the software required to interact with models, deploying solutions and helping to deliver real business value.
Who you are
This is the right role for you if you:
- are able to work closely with other technical experts. You should be a listener, but also willing to voice your opinion based on your experience to help guide the team in the right direction
- are passionate about AI/ML and associated technologies and the benefits they can bring, but also understanding the risks and potential pitfalls
- are able to coach other technologists in your team, helping them to be the best they can be
- have a continuous learning mindset, keeping yourself updated with industry trends, tools, and best practices
- have clear focus on delivering value to the business
Your background and skills include:
- Have 3+ years’ experience in python software development working in an agile environment and agile software development practices ideally in the context of DevOps/MLOps experience
