About this opportunity
Welcome to the Commercial Cards team. We add value by support, maintenance, deployment and automation of multiple Nordea applications to fulfill our customers needs. As an IT Infrastructure Specialist, you’ll play a valuable role in keeping Nordea operational and transforming our BizDevOps way of working. We are currently looking for an IBM iSeries specialist to join our Team. This full-time role is based in Poland 3City, Warsaw or Łódź with hybrid work model.
What you’ll be doing:
- Be practicing BizDevOps, collaborating closely with business, development and other stakeholders.
- Automate operations and drive continual service improvement, based on application performance.
- Manage technical integrity, updates, releases and deployments of the application.
- Handle IT operations and 24/7 on call in line with ITIL best practices, including incident and problem management.
You’ll join a very skilled and friendly team where we support worldwide financial applications. The role is based in Gdańsk/Gdynia, Warsaw or Łódź.

Your experience and background:
- System admin knowledge on iSeries (IBMi) environment (monitoring and maintaining)
- Experience with IBM DB2 SQL
- Experience in handling incidents in a fast-paced environment using Helix, Jira or other incident management tools
- Splunk monitoring tool
- Midrange systems basics
- Kubernetes fundamentals (nice to have)
- J2EE WebLogic platform (nice to have)
