We are looking for a IT Infrastructure Specialist to support Consumer Cards Applications hosted on Mainframe platform to handle simple to complex incoming cases that require investigation work. 


About our team  

 

Welcome to the Cards Technology Application Maintenance team. We add value by support, maintenance, deployment and automation of multiple Nordea Cards applications to fulfill our customer’s needs. As an IT Infrastructure Specialist, you’ll play a valuable role in keeping Nordea operational and transforming our BizDevOps way of working. We are currently looking for IBM Mainframe skilled person to join our Team. This full-time role is based in Poland (3City, Warsaw, Łódź) or Finland (Helsinki) with hybrid work model. 

 

What you’ll be doing:

  • You will be practicing BizDevOps, collaborating closely with business, development and other stakeholders
  • You will automate operations and drive continual service improvement, based on application performance
  • You will manage technical integrity, updates, releases and deployments of the application
  • You will handle IT operations in line with ITIL best practices, including incident, change and problem management handling

Your background and skills include: 

  • Knowledge of mainframe systems and tools: Z/OS, IMS/DL1, JCL, COBOL, TSO/ISPF, mainframe networking, performance tuning, optimization 
  • Proven experience of at least 3+ years of experience in mainframe operations or related roles
  • Familiarity with mainframe monitoring tools
  • analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues
  • experience in the financial domain, preferably in card payment service
