Are you a final year student or graduate looking for an interesting start for your banking career?
We are looking for intelligent, original, collaborative, passionate people ready to learn and adapt for our Internship Programme that would last up to 6 months and it starts on July. This is a part-time opportunity (30-40 hours/week) to accommodate your university schedule who can later on come to become permanent members of your team.
Currently we are looking for Interns within Markets & Treasury Financial Control (MTFC) in Nordea.
The aim of an Internship in MTFC is to give you a taste of what it’s like to work at an investment bank, along with gaining valuable skills and experiences that you’ll bring into your future career.
At Markets & Treasury Financial Control (“MTFC") you will learn about the bank’s compliance with regulations and internal rules, limits & guidelines on financial risks. This includes controlling, analysis and reporting in relation to risk exposures, valuations of those and the resulting impact on Profit and Loss statement. This is done on daily basis and MTFC reports have impact on everyday business decision making of front office in Markets and Group Treasury in Nordea.

Your profile and background:
- Final year student of Bachelor’s or Master’s programme or a Graduate in Finance, Economics, statistics or similar field.
- Fluency in English - spoken & written.
- Knowledge about banking and finance, financial products and instruments.
- Strong Excel skills.
- Willingness to learn VBA, SQL or Python.
- Strong analytical skills and attention to details.
