We are looking for a M365 AI Platform Architect to join our team Content Management in End User Engineering & Operations service domain. In this role, you will proactively drive the vision, target architecture and technical roadmap for AI and agentic AI. While the primary focus is on Microsoft 365 AI capabilities, the role should also understand how other enterprise AI platforms, such as Gemini, Claude or similar GenAI solutions, may influence Nordea’s broader AI architecture landscape, integration patterns, governance guardrails and technology decisions. You will align architecture decisions with business and IT strategy, define standards and guardrails, evaluate emerging AI technologies and help stakeholders understand trade-offs so that AI enablement is secure, scalable, compliant and strategically aligned.

About our team
Content Management in End User Engineering & Operations provides modern digital workplace services across Nordea. We are responsible for governance, compliance processes, platform enablement and operations related to Microsoft 365 services and supporting platforms. Our technology stack is broad and includes Microsoft 365 Copilot, agentic AI governance capabilities, integrations and custom applications for digital workplace. We add value by enabling Executives, Business, IT, Traders and Branches with dependable end-user services required for their daily work.
Our team is international, with colleagues based in Denmark, Finland and Poland. Your future manager is located in Warsaw.
Main responsibilities in this role:
- Proactively drive the vision, target architecture and technical roadmap for AI and agentic AI platform enablement across Microsoft 365 and related cloud platforms in alignment with business and IT strategy.
- Define technical guardrails for AI capabilities like M365 Copilot, Copilot Agents, Co-work
- Design and architect agentic AI solutions and frameworks, including SharePoint Agents, Declarative Agents, Copilot Studio, custom/pro-code agents and Agent 365-enabled scenarios.
- Define tenant-level platform controls, admin settings, enablement policies and technical review criteria.
- Work with other team on environment strategy, DLP policies, Entra identities and AI governance.
- Translate risk, security, privacy and compliance requirements into practical platform architecture and design controls.
- Maintain architecture documentation, reference patterns, technical decision records and platform readiness requirements for new Microsoft 365 AI capabilities.
- Proactively develop, guide and govern architectural standards, principles, reference patterns and best practices to reduce complexity, manage risk, improve agility and enable business capabilities.
- Analyze stakeholder requirements and maintain an overview of the current Microsoft 365 application, integration, identity and infrastructure landscape, including gaps that must be addressed through architecture roadmaps.
- Build consensus and commitment among architects, platform teams, governance functions and business stakeholders on architectural trade-offs, target picture and implementation priorities.
- Guide and advise stakeholders on architectural issues and implementation choices to ensure solutions are technically sound, supportable and aligned with Nordea standards.
- Evaluate emerging AI technologies, frameworks and tools to support strategic technology decisions and future platform direction.
Who you are
This is the right role for you if you are a strong AI and Microsoft 365 architect who can combine platform ownership, cloud architecture, security thinking, strategic architecture discipline and product mindset. You enjoy defining scalable guardrails, making technical decisions transparent and helping business and maker teams understand what is possible, allowed and supportable. You can communicate complex concepts in clear and understandable ways, drive consensus across stakeholders and contribute to architecture evolution that reduces complexity, cost and risk while improving agility and business capabilities.
Your background and skills include:
- Strong AI, Microsoft 365 and enterprise architecture experience across enterprise-scale environments.
- Good understanding of Microsoft Copilot, Copilot Studio, Power Platform, SharePoint, Teams, Microsoft Graph, Entra ID and Microsoft 365 admin capabilities.
- Good understanding of cloud platforms such as Microsoft Azure, AWS or Google Cloud Platform.
- Awareness of broader enterprise AI platforms such as Gemini, Claude or similar GenAI solutions, including how they may affect enterprise AI architecture, integration, security, governance and platform strategy.
- Experience designing and architecting agentic AI solutions, frameworks, reference architectures and enterprise integration patterns.
- Experience with Microsoft Azure AI Foundry, Azure OpenAI, the Microsoft Copilot ecosystem or Azure Machine Learning.
- Have experience with Microsoft Entra Suite, Microsoft Purview, Defender, Power Platform governance or Graph connectors.
- Understand Agent 365, Entra Agent ID, agent registry.
- Have experience with secure connectors, APIs or knowledge integration
- Experience designing secure platform services, enterprise integrations or governance-driven technology enablement models.
- Understanding of identity, permissions, Conditional Access, DLP, audit, compliance and operational control patterns.
- Ability to create architecture documents, decision frameworks, diagrams, technical roadmaps and implementation guardrails.
- Very good communication skills in English, with the ability to explain complex technical topics to technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Ability to drive strategic architecture discussions, facilitate decision-making and build consensus among senior stakeholders, architects and delivery teams.
- Experience developing and governing architecture principles, standards, best practices, roadmaps and target-state documentation across one or more architecture domains.
It would be ideal if you also:
- Have experience operating platform services in a regulated enterprise environment.
- Hold relevant certifications in AI, cloud architecture or enterprise architecture.
- Have experience with Jira, Confluence, ServiceNow
This role is open in Łódź, Warsaw, Helsinki. We work in a hybrid model, combining office collaboration with flexible remote work.
