We are now looking for a Microsoft 365 Expert (job description Production Operation Expert) to join our team Content Management in End User Engineering & Operations service domain. In this role, you will be a key expert for Exchange Online and Exchange Server and its dependent and supportive services, ensuring reliable, secure, and compliant email and messaging services across Nordea.

About this opportunity

 

Content Management in End User Engineering & Operations provides modern digital workplace services across Nordea. We are responsible for governance, compliance processes, and operations related to Microsoft 365 services and supporting platforms.

 

Our technology stack is broad and includes also copilot and custom applications for digital workplace  We add value by enabling Executives, Business, IT, Traders, and Branches with dependable end‑user services required for their daily work.

 

Our team is international, with colleagues based in Denmark, Finland and Poland. Your future manager is located in Warsaw.

 

What you’ll be doing

  • Act as a subject matter expert for Exchange Online and Exchange server, ensuring stable, secure, and compliant messaging services
  • Support and develop email security and protection services, including Microsoft Defender for Office 365, phishing protection, DMARC, and related capabilities
  • Drive continuous improvement of Exchange and email-related services through expert input, service reviews, and lifecycle management including architecture design  
  • Collaborate closely with security, identity, and infrastructure teams to ensure seamless and secure service integration
  • Support operational teams with complex incidents, problem management, and root-cause analysis, including participation in an on-call rotation (shift-based) when needed
  • Contribute to governance, risk assessments, audits, and compliance activities required in a regulated environment
  • Maintain clear technical documentation and communicate solutions effectively to both technical teams and stakeholders
  • Participating to the on-call shifts with team members

 

This role is open in Łódź, Warsaw, Gdynia, or Gdańsk. We work in a hybrid model, combining office collaboration with flexible remote work.

 

Who you are

 

This is the right role for you if you are a hands-on Microsoft 365 Expert with strong expertise in Exchange Online and Server area, email security, and you enjoy working close to operations while ensuring high service quality and security.

 

You take ownership of your area, work in a structured way, and balance deep technical knowledge with collaboration and continuous improvement.

 

This is the right role for you if you are/have:

  • Strong technical hands-on experience with Microsoft 365, with a clear focus on Exchange Online
  • Strong expertise in driving exchange migrations on enterprise level.
  • Good understanding of email security solutions, such as Microsoft Defender for Office 365, phishing protection, and DMARC
  • Experience supporting and improving enterprise-scale messaging environments
  • Understanding of security, compliance, and operational requirements in large organizations
  • Ability to analyze issues, propose improvements, and support implementation
  • Experience with scripting (e.g., PowerShell) is required
  • Very good communication skills in English, both written and spoken
  • Strong collaboration skills and a proactive, quality-focused mindset
  • At least a Bachelor degree from university in relevant field

 

It would be ideal if you also:

  • Have experience working in regulated or large enterprise environments
  • Are familiar with Microsoft 365 security and compliance features
  • Hold Microsoft certifications related to Microsoft 365 or Security
  • Have experience working in Agile or hybrid delivery models
