About this opportunity
 

Group Internal Audit (GIA) is an independent function, supporting the Nordea Group Board and Group Executive Management in protecting the assets, reputation and sustainability of the largest bank in the Nordics. 

 

Your main role will be to support audits of Nordea’s products and processes, and contribute to the delivery of GIA’s project portfolio. You will also have a chance to understand how the stable, international bank operates across the whole value chain. Moreover, you will learn how to apply data analytics, programming skills and new technologies like artificial intelligence, automation to work efficiently and effectively. 

You will have the opportunity to work with different teams in GIA, developing an understanding of the banks key processes and risks.

 

What you will be doing:

  • Learn:
    • Dive into our training programs to understand auditing and our business,
    • Work alongside experience auditors to learn best practices.
  • Conduct Audits:
    • Help plan and carry out audits to check how well Nordea’s processes are working,
    • Collect data, analyze it and look for areas we can improve.
  • Report Findings:
    • Write what you find in clear, easy-to-understand reports,
    • Share your insights and knowledge with the team and stakeholders.

The role can be based in Poland or Finland (in either Helsinki, Warsaw, Gdynia, Gdańsk or Łódź).

Your profile and background:

  • University degree,
  • Basic data analytic/programming skills (e.g. Python, SQL),
  • Fluent in written and spoken English.
