Nordea Finance Business & Credit Risk Management is hiring a Senior Business Analyst to support portfolio analysis and to enable precise decision making. The position is open in the NF Credit Risk Analytics team, which is the central point of contact for portfolio analytics and management reporting within the Credit Risk area in Nordea Finance.

As the Senior Business Analyst in NF Credit Risk Analytics, you will get to support the business by translating data on Credit Risk related topics into insights that enable a deeper understanding of the portfolio credit quality and enables better decision making. The team works with and analyses a number of credit-related topics such as portfolio performance, Default Management, Unlikeliness-To-Pay, Forbearance, loan losses, capital models and ESG.

What you’ll be doing:
- Work with Nordea Finance’s country subject matter experts and country Credit Heads to support with data analytics related to the credit risk exposures
- Work with the team to translate requirements into clear data models and effective visual solutions
- Enhance and streamline the data models used for Credit risk reporting
- Maintain and develop Power BI dashboards used in management reporting
- Explore opportunities with new data sources to improve the reporting
- Work closely with the Credit Risk Management teams in Nordea Finance and stakeholders across Nordea Group
The role is based in Warsaw.
Who you are
This is the right role for you if you have:
- Strong experience with data analytics and working with large datasets
- Strong experience in working with SQL, Python or similar + MS Excel & Power BI
- Strong analytical mindset, problem-solving and numerical skills
- Strong communication and presentation skills
- Experience in the Credit Risk area
- Academic degree in relevant field (Economics, Mathematics, Statistics, Data Science or similar)
- A proactive and self-driven mindset also with an ability to be a true team player
- Fluency in English
