Currently we are looking for an Intern to join the Capital Reporting team within the Regulatory Reporting Unit.

About this opportunity

 

You’ll join the Capital Reporting team within the Regulatory Reporting Unit where we are delivering reports to supervisory authorities through efficient processes meeting regulatory requirements, as well as supporting analyst work related to risk and capital.

 

You will assist with various types of risk reporting for Nordea Group and its subsidiaries. Capital Reporting team is responsible for controlling, analysing and reporting the capital in Nordea, to enable management and the business areas to focus on decision making and risk management, as well as ensuring that Nordea complies with external and internal regulations.

 

What you will be doing:

  • Supporting the analysis of the development of risk exposures amounts (REA) in accordance with Basel IIII regulation, and other financial regulatory reporting
  • Supporting continuous improvement initiatives in your processes and in the unit, including developing new tools and processes in R/Python/SQL/etc.

 

The role is based in Warsaw. This is a flexible, part-time (20-30h weekly) opportunity. We can offer you a contract for 6-18 months.

Your experience and background:

  • Student or absolvent in economics, finance, mathematics, statistics, engineering, or similar
  • Fluency in English is required
  • Strong Excel Skills
  • Willingness to learn or proficiency in VBA/SAS/Python/R or SQL
  • Strong analytical skills and attention to details
  • Ability to work well within a team, as well as independently
