We are looking for an intern to support the Counterparty Credit Risk Control team, to run daily SaS / SQL Code to support the team in ensuring that daily margin call calculations are run effectively every day. The role is fixed term, with the possibility to get it extended.

 

About our team

 

Meet the Counterparty Credit Risk Control team. Our role is to Manage Nordea’s counterparty Credit risk and support our collateral management team in running daily calculations and reporting.

 

Our team consists of 6 people located across Poland, Denmark and Finland. We work with data to generate reports and monitoring tools to support the risk management process within the area of counterparty credit risk in the Bank.

 

The team is part of Large Corporate and institutions within the bank, and we work in close collaboration with front office, IT and other risk management departments within the bank.

What you’ll be doing

 

Main responsibilities in this role: The main responsibility in this role, is to ensure that the IT jobs related to Nordea’s Collateral Management process are run and executed effectively on a daily basis. Besides running these tasks, there will also be opportunities to work with python and SQL to support the team in building and maintaining existing reports.

Your background and skills include:

  • Have experience with SQL
  • You posses a basic understanding of derivatives and financial markets
  • Knows about r have experience with Python


It would be ideal if you also:

  • Have a basic understanding of data structures
  • Have experience with SaS programming
  • Have experience with PowerBi
