About this opportunity

 

Come join our Corporate Actions team – a place where your attention to detail really matters! You'll be handling mandatory and voluntary corporate actions while acting as a go-to resource for our Investment organization. Our team has built up a solid knowledge base around corporate actions, and you'll both draw on and add to that expertise as you get involved in exciting initiatives across different asset classes. We have big ambitions when it comes to post-trade excellence, so if you enjoy a mix of hands-on operational work and strategic thinking, this could be just the right fit. It's a role that will challenge you, keep you on your toes, and help you grow professionally.

 

What you’ll be doing

•    Execute end-to-end corporate action processing across global markets and conduct reconciliations.
•    Collaborate actively with key stakeholders including Portfolio Managers, custodians, and various internal and external business units.
•    Seek to continuously optimize and automate processes to ensure scalable solutions are implemented and documented.
•    Contribute to strategic projects and stakeholder meetings as a subject matter expert.

 

The team consists of highly skilled and passionate people with various backgrounds and the role is based in Oeiras (Quinta da Fonte).

Your background and skills include: 

•    Around 3 years’ experience of Corporate Actions and knowledge within the financial industry operations area.
•    Proficient in English skills (as we are an European asset manager). 
•    Good communication and interpersonal skills.
•    Service minded and have proficient problem solving skills.
