Nordea Finance Business & Credit Risk Management is hiring a Senior Credit Analyst for the Credit Risk Control & Control Automation team. As the Senior Credit Controller you will have a significant impact on Nordea Finance’s financial health by ensuring that guidelines are adhered to and deficiencies in processes can be identified via controlling activities. What you’ll be doing:
- Perform frequent and ad-hoc credit controlling tasks covering all credit portfolios and customer segments in all Nordea Finance legal entities in Denmark, Finland, Norway and Sweden.
- Perform both credit file reviews and monitoring of automated controls.
- Focus on e.g. Unlikeliness-to-Pay, forbearance and contagion processes, car and equipment finance, vendor risk management, credit origination and collateral valuation processes.
- Design and implement efficient controls to ensure that key frameworks & processes are executed in a compliant and efficient manner.
- Work with data to improve existing controls, control procedures & toolsets.
- Interact with internal stakeholders within Nordea Finance to ensure that risks are managed properly and actions are taken when inefficient processes are detected.
- Liaise with Group Functions to understand best practices within the group.
- Provide high-quality and value-adding control results via management reporting.
In this role you will report to the Head of Credit Risk Solutions & Frameworks and functionally report to the Functional Lead of Credit Risk Control & Control Automation-team.

Your experience and background:
- At least 3 years’ experience within credit risk management or controlling from either 1LoD/2LoD/3LoD in Household or Corporate segments.
- Hands-on working experience within credits: background from e.g. credit analysis, credit granting and/or credit controlling function.
- Ideally you have some understanding of regulatory requirements for Credit Risk.
- Relevant technical skills: Experience in working with large data sets and business analytics is plus but not a perquisite.
- Fluency in English: Familiarity with a Nordic language is a plus.
